Faith Solutions International began in 2011 in the living room of our founder, Charity Northan, as a small outreach called Living More Abundantly. As the vision grew to address the deep mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of communities through Christ, the name evolved—first to Faith Solutions to Mental Health, and ultimately to Faith Solutions International.
From local support in Phoenix to global impact, FSI has now served in over 26 countries across 5 continents. Through church partnerships, faith-based education, and Christ-centered support, we bring healing, hope, and mental wellness to individuals and communities around the world.

Future projects: Rwanda and the Philippines
THERAPEUTIC FARMING IN RWANDA
Faith Solutions International is preparing to launch a transformative mental health and wellness initiative in Rwanda, rooted in our mission to bring Christ-centered care to at-risk communities. Located on five acres of agriculturally zoned land, this innovative project will serve as a hub for agricultural psychology, faith-based healing, and sustainable community development.
The Rwanda Wellness Center will offer a unique blend of services, including:
- Faith-based mental health education and support
- Therapeutic farming programs that use agriculture as a tool for trauma healing and empowerment
- Community outreach and spiritual development
- Training programs for local leaders, mental health advocates, and church partners
- Wellness retreats and safe spaces for rest, recovery, and renewal
This center will not only provide practical tools for healing but also create jobs, cultivate hope, and foster resilience in a region deeply affected by poverty, trauma, and generational wounds.
Through this project, FSI is planting seeds—both spiritual and physical—that will grow into a lasting legacy of healing, restoration, and Christ-centered transformation in Rwanda and beyond.
RESTORING HOPE IN THE PHILIPPINES
Faith Solutions International is preparing to launch a new initiative in the Philippines in partnership with local pastors who continue to serve faithfully in the face of devastating loss. Recent flooding destroyed many of their ministry facilities—leaving communities without spiritual guidance, support, or safe spaces to heal.
We believe these pastors are the heart of their communities—and we’re standing with them.
Our vision is twofold:
- Rebuild ministry centers lost in the disaster, creating safe, functional spaces for worship, fellowship, and care
- Equip churches with tools and training to offer Christ-centered mental health counseling and education to those affected by trauma, loss, and poverty
Together, we can restore what’s been lost—and bring a new wave of hope, healing, and faith-based support to the people of the Philippines.
Faith in Action-Our National Advocacy Plan for Mental Health
Mobilize Faith Leaders for Mental Health Equity
Our advocacy plan calls for a strategic partnership between government agencies and faith-based communities to address the growing mental health crisis. By training and equipping faith leaders—who are often the first point of contact for individuals in distress—we can expand access to culturally competent care, reduce stigma, and improve early intervention in underserved communities. The plan outlines a policy framework to fund, certify, and integrate clergy into the broader mental health response system, recognizing their role as trusted and compassionate frontline responders.
